Forgive if this question has been asked before -- but is there any speed advantage (on the AAO SSD model) to running applications from the SD card (drive D) rather than directly off the (painfully slow) SSD? Come to that, if the answer is yes, has anyone ever succeeded in actually loading and running XP itself from the SD card?

I just loaded FlashPoint and it fixed my painfully slow SSD enough to make me want to buy another AAO SSD.

Yup I tried that, but unfortunately I was one of the users whose machines crashed when trying it, producing a BSOD. So unless there's been any fix to it in the past few weeks that's out.

I'm really glad you said that -- because I then went and downloaded the New Improved Version and voila! It works, and how! Wonderful, and all power to the developer.
