Santas bringing me a D250 Red :)

Hi all,

Not quite an Aspire owner yet, but I think there may very well be one sitting under the christmas tree for me

Now, if Santa is living up to expectations I have a few questions regarding the D250.

What RAM does the D250 take? As I have an aversion to 1Gb in a laptop!! I've read it is DDR2-4200 but have also read a couple of peoples profiles stating they are using DDR2-6400! Does this require overclocking to achieve?

Can someone recommend a good neoprene case which fits the D250 snuggly? As I see the one recommened on Amazon is too small!

I think my wife... Ahem Santa... has ordered me the one with Android and Win XP. Is it possible to set it to boot straight to XP and avoid Andriod as to be honest, I don't rate it at all!!

I've not seen the bootloader these new D250s use, though I'd imagine if you really don't like the Android OS you could always kill its partition and enlarge XP's to fill that space. You could use gparted to do this, perhaps... I'm not quite sure, though.
