If this has been covered before, my apologies - but I couldn't find a previous thread on the subject.

I just received my 10.1" D250 and find there seems to be no reall rhyme or reason as to what level the screen brightness will come on to after a shutdown or restart. Regardless of level set when I shutdown, it seems to always come up lower on the next restart. This is both on battery and on AC. Most laptops will store the last brightness setting used for each mode (AC or battery) and then use that until you shutdown at a different level, which would update the setting.

This one seems to come up at either a preset setting, and no matter what it comes up to on AC it *always* then drops 3 levels when the AC plug is pulled out.

Seems very odd to me? Is this what others are seeing? Thanks - N

Also - (unrelated) it seems the WiFi is always enabled on restart, even if it was turned off when you shut down. Is this correct? Thanks.

FYI - as a followup: I have upgraded the BIOS to 1.03 with no change in behavior. What seems to be happening is if you do a "restart" the setting you had on aC power is retained, and if you disconnect the AC power, the screen brightness drops 2-3 levels from wherever it was set to on AC power. However, after a complete shutdown, the levels seem to be reset to: 3 levels down from Max on AC power and 5 levels down from Max on battery. Regards.

My AOD250 is the same, I have also upped the BIOS to 1.03 no apparent difference so far, certainly nothing negative
