Screen keeps going blank

    Hi,

    I only just picked up my Aspire One today and already i'm having a problem where the screen just keeps going blank. Nothing repsonds...and the only thing i can do is hold the power button until it turns off.

    Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

    It happened to me twice. Hard powered-off both times. Happened late last week, hasn't happened again since. I read somewhere that this isn't uncommon....

    No idea what's going on though..

    Same here 1 week old, only seems to happen whilst powered by battery. I wrote to Acer regards the problem 3 days ago ! no response yet :x

    Yep...i can confirm that it only happens when its using the battery...and only when the level drops to about 30-40%
