Screen not working after attempted ubuntu install

    I attempted to install Ubuntu onto my aspire one after formatting the disk with windows xp on it. I got to 27% and the ubunto install failed, and booted from cd to desktop. After rebooting my computer, the light on the laptop was green, but the screen is totally off and wont display anything. So basically the computer will turn on but the screen doesnt work. Should i flash the bios? How can I even do that if theres no screen?

    flashed the bios and it worked im just glad it didnt screw that up too lmao.. for future reference.
