Well, I looked at the display and powersaving settings but couldn't find it there:

How do we go about adjusting the screensaver settings, and more importantly the time before the Aspire One switches its screen off? Mine goes black a bit too early, usually within a few minutes.

Note the system doesn't go into standby mode then, it just switches its screen to black. :geek:

    Any ideas?

    Regards, R

    2. sudo thunar /usr/share/applications/gnome-screensaver-preferences.desktop

    or

    1. terminal
    2. sudo thunar /usr/share/applications/
    3. look for Screensaver

it is also available in the group-app.xml under settings but was disabled.
