Screen scrolling wildly

    When I place the mouse cursor close to the left side of the screen, it start scrolling horizontally uncontrollably until I remove the mouse from that area. It happens both with XP or Ubuntu so I think it's an hardware issue. Anyone had experience with something like this? I searched the forums but found nothing on the matter.

    No thoughts? Didn't really want so send it to repairs, specially since it has no warranty anymore, probably the repair will be close to a new one.
