Serious Window Management Problems

    Hi,

    The window manager on my UNR 9.1 system has suddenly got much worse. For example when I have application open they are not represented in any way in the task bar, the only way to change between applications is to use the tab key. Also the window tools e.g. maximise, minimise or close are not displayed on any application. Please can someone help it is driving me nuts?

    I have to say my experience of Ubuntu 9.1 has again returned to being dreadful.
