    1. I can not seem to get my Shade btn to work on any window, the btn is there but nothing happens when pressed. Is there some place in the system that i need to turn it on, or install a function for it to work?

    2. a few of my Icons when I roll over them they will change to a lower rez version and stay that way.

    when Linux boots up

after roll over or when hitting the expand btn.
It only happens to Gimp and Open Office.
    Thanks

Problem 2 has been solved. The Icons were changing because my DPI was not on default or my font size was too big... dont know but it worked.

but the shade still does not work nor has it ever worked. I am running linpus off a xp 8gig SSD . (xp now removed)
