Shipping Question

    Did anyone else have to pay for shipping themselves? My AO is messed up and I processed it via their website. Instructions say I have to ship it myself and pay for shipping. Every company I dealt with sent a box with prepaid shipping. Does anyone know if they will reimburse me?

    That's standard procedure in UK as far as I know. P&P cost (which you are aware of) is added on top of product price and that's amount you're paying. Never heard about extra payments for delivery while collecting item...

    Figured out what the deal is and basically the guy on the phone told me that I pay to ship it to them and they pay to ship it back. Thats pretty crappy customer service.

    That's not crappy customer service.

    As far as warrant repairs go, the usual case is the customer pays for shipping the item in for repairs and the company pays for return shipping.

    The few companies that pay for shipping both ways do it either because it'll improve their customer standing/relations or is stipulated in their warranty/extended warranty policy.


    Honestly, I did not mind paying the $11 to send my AAO150 in for repairs. It sure shaved off at least 3 days of wait time for me if I had to wait for some prepaid box to arrive and get sent back.
