I tried searching the forums for this one but it's a tad specific:

Anyone has this model? Does it come with 1GB on-board or 512MB on board and a 512MB sodimm that I'll have to throw away?

Thanks to anyone who might answer.

    B.

AFAIK, ALL models come with 512MB soldered to the board, and the 1GB models have an addt'l 512MB in a SO-DIMM slot. You will have to just throw that removable one away (or save it for any future emergency usage).

Yes, so far all the models have the same config:

512 MB soldered unremovable, for 512 models that's it, for 1GB models there's an extra 512 MB dimm on the slot, you can remove that and achieve a total of 1.5 GB.

Topic locked, if there is need, this discussion can be continued on one of the existing RAM topics.
