sickboy kernel with linux mint

    Hi

    I'm using linux mint xfce edition. Since suspend doesnt work (crash after suspend with SD card inserted) I gave sickboys kernel a shot. It installed well but now I have no sound and no slot card readers. Do I have to do anything else (modprobe etc) or should I give up on the new kernel?
