Some major problems with Silent Hill 2 Remake 2024 are:

    1. Outrageous 70 price for a 14-16hr game, howlongtobeat.
    2. 15 or less manual save slots in 2024
    3. No save anywhere anytime in 2024, doesn't respect your time
    4. UE is a hardware hog of an engine, it does look great but for mostly static imagery it way overuses your system.
    5. UE generic assets all over
    6. UE little interaction buttons are sometimes tricky to be able to activate.
    7. Subjective but I'm not a fan of the new character models, james has the narrow lean sharp face of a trannyman, maria has a huge head of a ladyboy when compared to body in the cutscenes. Laura looks like a little boy. Eddie is a tie, seems better in this version imo
    8. If you just use what the game selects as your settings you'll get stutter depending on your system. If you've got a 3070 and above it's likely not a problem anyone below that will need to do some tweaking. They basically make the modern tricks necessary to lower the hardware usage a bit and get higher fps. I've heard even high end users at their normal settings aka 2k-4k above 60fps get stutter though. DLSS and if you have the cpu overhead FG are basically necessary in this game. So the trend of lazy dev optimization continues, likely to drive addicted zombies into buying hardware, it's a symbiotic relationship obviously.

So I finished SH2RE and it's pretty good overall. I was at about 21hrs total and def lost a lot of time trying to find combos and some of the puzzles took longer, got lost in the apt building had to look up where to go next so lop off at least a couple hours there but I'd say average is 20hrs for finding most of the easter eggs added onto it and just random exploring where it was possible. I got the Maria ending.

You'll also notice that the clock puzzle in the apt has 9-11 as a code which the original had as well from 2000. This massive deception was known long before it was perpetrated by the jewmasontranny satanic mafia. Hel the buildings themselves were a huge "11" or the prime number of satanism. We've seen fukushima on 3-11, we saw covid day on 3-11, brevik fake massacre was on either 7-11 or 7-22, multiples work as well like 33, 44 etc

So anyways yeah, I don't recommend paying for this game at anywhere near the 70 usd price, so if you must pay to "license" a game to use do it with cut rate keys and such. A sale probably will be along in a couple months or so. And all the stuff I listed above and likely more but they're just small overall if you like this sort of game. We can only hope we'll eventually get both 3-4 remade at some point.

Still it's not a good thing when the biggest games are just remakes of very old games. Konami is also remaking MGS3 to be released this year. Capcom is king of the remakes though but still does new RE games, although not as good for sure.
