Okay had a quick reply to my email from the above company and seems international postage starts off at $10, incidentaly I noticed a skin I liked the look off a skin that unfortunatly was not shown within the acer aspire one section off the website but seems they can add that particular design within a couple off weeks to suit the aspire one at no extra cost.

so may be worth having a look at the other skins available under the " laptops " choice and see if there is anything there that you like the look off.

will keep you updated when I eventually place the order and let you know how I get on, hopefully eventually placing pictures off the finished article in due course !!!

As far as I know nope not yet, but if you see a skin that you like on there site give them an email and they will normally get back to you very quickly with an answer regards them getting the skin altered to suit the particular item you want it for. normally takes a few weeks for them to do this as I had to waitt for the above skin to be ready for the little acer aspire one as it was originally designed for regular sized laptops.

have a look at the site anyway and drop them an email, they really are an excellent crowd to deal with.

I have one of these for my One, and it's nice, pretty, etc..but where it meets the back hinge(both sides) isn't formed right, and it leaves a little crease. Have replaced it and tried working it out in various methods and finally decided having it at the very back was the best option...not totally pleased but it IS pretty and protective. Fits well the rest of the way around. Considering a little slit with exacto knife/razor blade and overlapping, but still hoping someone will be able to tell me if it's ME or the skin? hehe

Here are some pics of the skin i got from istyles.....they fit really well!!! So if anyone is still trying to decide if its worth it, then HELL YEAH, and they provide quite a bit of protection. Sorry for the low-quality pics guys...

I am probably going to use decalgirl.com for a custom skin. Since there is no template for the AA1 on their template subforum I mailed them about it and after having answered them which model I have (8.9" or 10") I received a Photoshop template back. They wrote "Custom skins like that are generally $5.00 - $10.00 over the internet list price." That's not expensive at all, I think.

Now I just need the custom design. :)

I've just bought (and fitted) a skin from decalgirl. Its superb quality and goes on really easily... just be sure to give your laptop a good wipe down. The skin from decalgirl comes with a piece for the wrist area of the laptop too. I'm from the UK and it was delivered within 2 weeks! Superb!

i don't know if i mentioned this before, but i noticed that the package i received from Istyles was stamped with Decalgirl, so i'm thinking istyles is just a supplier.....their skins are decalgirl....
