skype and internal mic (xp)?

    hi

    for some reason my mic doesn't work with skype, works on other programmes though.

    if i plug in a headset then the mic on the headset works.

    i have an xp model.

    anyone else experience this problem?

    my internal mic works fine with skype (XP/120G model)

    my mic was the same.
    not a sound in skype, nor in other apps.
    this was on a WinXPPro with SP3 (integrated drivers with nLite).
    Only solution that worked for me was to install the Realtek audio drivers downloaded from the Acer website (5628), running the setup.exe (not via the device manager).
    Now works fine on every app.
