Skype Installation

    Hi,

    I have been trying to install Skype on my Aspire One with no joy. I am running Linpus Linux Lite v1.0.13.E. I downloaded Fedora 10+ from the Skype website after reading a few threads and it appeared to install with no errors. However, when I try and launch Skype nothing happens, I see it in my advanced menu but clicking on it to launch does nothing. I'd appreciate any advice. I'm vey new to linux.
