Skype issues

    I've noticing while skyping between my Acer Aspire One (Leopard 10.5.4 following the Kalyway install option) and MBP on the home network that the Aspire is transmitting (or the MBP is receiving) video with a .5-1s lag... whereas there is essentially no lag the other way around. Not sure what the cause would be... appreciate any tips.

    By the way, if you attempt to place or receive a call with Skype without:
    - fixed sound drivers; or
    - some kind of USB sound in/out option connected (I have a cheap USB headset)
    then it will probably crash.
