Skype on the One

    As with most of us, my family world wide uses Skype, how can I get it to work on the One? It has other IM's loaded, but Skype is what I need. Any Ideas please. To link with the webcam would be even cooler

    Does skype not work on xp with the one for some reason? i was just about to sign up for it and get a headset.

    Just go to the Skype (for Linux) download page and download the Fedora 7 version - skype-2.0.0.72-fc5.i586.rpm. Install it with the Software installer.

    It works amazingly well. I used it for a 35 min call to New Zealand from the UK, about as far as its possible to get, wonderful quality. I am very impressed with this.

    cant say much for skype on the One as ive never had it on. But i have used skype from my old tablet(same specs) on a cell connection from the US to Austrilia for multiple hour conversations with lil to no disruption and great clarity...alot of the times while i was driving down isolated country highways...Skype is the bomb!
