Skype webcam

    I had skype, including video working well on my new Linux Aspire One. Now, although the webcam still works fine outside of Skype, I do not put out any video during my calls. A message comes up in my Skype video preferences that says to close any programs running video and try again. There are no video programs running. Any thoughts on getting this working?

    Firstly have you tried uninstalling and re-installing skype :?:
