SLOOOOOWWWw performance, out of the blue. Here's a fix.

    My acer started running really slow and I mean slow, 166MHz slow, out of the blue, and after full virus/spyware/adware scans revealed nothing, I turned to google for help.

    This guy not only explained WHY this happens, but HOW to fix it. He also saved my acer from hitting the concrete outside my window. As I understand it, the problem is microsoft thinking that it knows all.
