Hi guys, I know its probably the wrong place to ask but I'm just curious.

As it is possible to install Snow Leopard on the Aspire One is it also possible to install it on an Acer Veriton N260 which has much the same spec. as the Aspire One?

Like I said, I'm just curious!

I'm still waiting for a working Aspire One  I got a refund for the one I got a couple of weeks ago, ordered an A1 condition one from AcerDirect.co.uk but when it arrived the wifi switch and both mouse buttons don't work because the case isn't fitted properly at the front - I'm waiting for that one to be collected so I can get a replacement!

i dont know if the GN40 chipset is supported, nor the GMA4500.

I think ud be much better off buying the computer and sticking to windows 7 so you can also take advantage of the other hardware features.
