In the startup section (checked using ccleaner) of my 751H running Win7 the file snuvcdsm.exe is listed.

Does anyone know what the file is good for ?

Just did a basic google search, the file is listed as being made by chicony, so it's more than likely part of the driver system for your built in Webcam.

Check to see if the process has restarted itself. It's possible that it could just be like a TSR (Terminate and Stay Resident) program. Or it could just be a completely useless file left over from the installation of the Acer Crystal Eye Webcam application. Either way I doubt it's neceessary for camera operation.
