Just bought my new Aspire One. Blown away by the way that everything has simply worked first time. I've even got Wine and Spotify working perfectly.
    BUT...........I can't find a Solitaire game.

Any suggestions.....I lead a life of loneliness :O(

    Hi groeswenphil

PySolFC is what you want, there are plenty of solitaire games within it.
Try Add/Remove Software, select All packages and List. You need to scroll down the list till you find it and then ensure you tick the box (green tick appears) and then Apply.

Just in case the game is part of the updated repositories you may need to do the following in Terminal if you have not done it before.

sudo yum install fedora-release - and then Enter. This gives you access to the software contained in the Fedora (a linux package that Linpus is based on) repositories.

Glad your experiences have been good it is a great little machine.

    Best wishes

    Excellent. Installed and running.

I must confess. I've got about two years of Ubuntu experience under my belt.

Bought this Aspire this morning and already it's doing just about everything that I want it to do................but do you ever play Klondike?
I usually play by dealing three cards at a time. Can't get it to do that.
    Thanks,
    Phil

    Hi Phil

    Glad it installed OK
Look for Klondike by Threes under Select then French Games (why?) then Klondike Type.

I tried Ubuntu but I find Linpus suits me.

    Actually, it isn't that bad.

I'm a school teacher so I get loads of company there.........dammit.
I also play concertina for the local Morris dancers so there is also an element of foolery in my life.

My wife has left me for a week hence my interest in playing solitaire. If she was here I'd be gardening or painting or something else.

PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME .. before I do my head in ... or install Windows!
    I can't move on this OS! ... I haven't a clue how to get anything that I want! :(

I have recently bought a 150, and being a complete noob anyway, I can't do a thing on it ... and ... sadly, have resigned myself to using it only for surfing, emails and MSN. :( The demo games are shat ... and all I want is to install a couple of solitaire games and maybe a chess game, so that they are accessible through the FUN>Games section on my desktop. But I haven't the foggiest how to go about doing it. :(

Can someone please hold my hand and take me, step by step, through the procedures and get me a few games clickable from the main screen ... PLEASE!

    Thanks
