Anybody get this to work on iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6 I can't seem to figure it out, if you got it to work can you please post a tutorial.

If you have the D150, don't bother trying ... get a DW 1390 instead :?

 

So the wifi will never work on the d150 even if I reinstall with a different distro?

 

i doubt this method will work but defiantly the dw 1390 will!

 

Im sorry I have the AOA 150 with 160 gb Hard Drive and the 8.9 inch screen, did anyone get that to work?

Today, for the second time, I follow the steps to have a working Atheros card on my AAO ZG5. However, after shutdown and restart and then turn on my computer ... PLOP! Kernel Panic. :cry:

:!: I mean the second time because I tried that earlier and ocurred the same. I had to reinstall Leopard again with all apps and Updates.

I tried to solve the KP using different flags (-v-f, CPUs = 1) and has not worked. I even Google one of the messages displayed on the KP ( "BSD process name corresponding to current thread: hidden") and get no response. If anyone can help me on this, I'll appreciate it very much.

Hi all, My very first post.lol..

This totaly worked first time I installed iAktos 5 on my a110, but the second time I am having trouble making it work.. It worked for some time, then restarted and then it stoped. Tryd to remove the driver and re-installed it. but no way..The airport icon comes up with bars, but when I scan for networks with it or with Kismac, nothing comes up.. So then I reboot, and then there is no bars in the airport icon.. The I install the driver kext again, and reboot and then I have bars again in the icon..

What could be the problem here??

Didn't work on my A150 with iDeneb 1.4. Did not find any networks and when the Kernel Panics began i re-installed the system.

 

Azz, which tutorial did you use, there is a few of them?

 

There seems to be about 10% chance of this working.. You can be lucky getting it to be stable, as I did the first time, now it seems to be more unstable for me.. as I said, it virked straight away, but after a restart it didnt.. Deleted the kext, re-insttaled it and did that a couple of time. the suddently it worked, until I Restarted again..

Now I get the icon with bars, but no luck finding a network with Kismac or airport util.

So there is 50-50% chance getting it to work the first time, and then abou10-20% chance of getting it stable..

If there is someone else who knows anything else, pleas lett me know.

i used diablonet's toutorial for iatkos 5i this is the out dated one. it worked very well i would also recommend diablonet's toutorial for ideneb.

I just turn Airport off when Im going to shut down, and on again when Im going to use it, when I turn it on I wait till it says "Airport On" and I run kisMac
This have been working for today
Like 6 or 7 times that I have tried it

 

anyone else used this method?
