    Hy! I've got a 160 Gib HD AA1, I made it by your steps, and it's written back to "12" me too. I've got a message: "The ending head value for table entry 1 must be less than 198.". The value is 254... Any idea...?

    did you try running admin?
    And the program itself is sort of glitchy. Restart it several times ;)

    Yes, wxp sp2 compatibility, and "run as admin..." The answer the same, the ending head value must be lower than 198, and it is 254...

    this method might not work for 160GB versions, I'm not sure.
