I tried to create a Windows-like "start" button on the taskbar using the instructions in this topic : viewtopic.php?f=13&t=736

It worked (kinda) but it's lead to a slight "issue" with the taskbar.

I'll attach a screenshot below, but essentially the battery, keyboard & wifi icons have a box around them that wasn't there before. Is it possible to hide this box as I'm sure it wasn't there before.

OK, I figured it out. When you add the WiFi/battery/keyboard item to the taskbar by clicking the 'Add' button, it pops up with a window asking you if you want a frame around it. However when you drag an item to the taskbar (as I was) it doesn't give you this option.
