    Hi guys,

Corrupted my hal.dll when resizing a partition (XP SP3) and now XP refuses to boot. I lack XP discs at the current time and as hal.dll is generated during the install of XP, i can't just download a generic one.

Wondering if anyone using an Aspire One D250 (N270 model) would be willing to upload/send me a copy of their hal.dll so i can get booted up into windows again!

    Any help appreciated,

    Angus

P.S. I know that i can regenerate the file by popping an XP disc in an external drive or booting XP install from USB but i currently lack a disk/iso and have limited bandwidth.

EDIT: If anyone's wondering, it's located at C:\WINDOWS\system32\hal.dll
EDIT2: Got a copy. Problem solved.
