Some Clarity Over The Microphone?

    Been reading on here about how people have had all different experiences with the microphone. Some people haven't been able to get any sound to play back at all others reporting that it works fine. I Can get mine to work but it has a really bad distorted sound, I'm trying to figure out how to clear it up, does anyone have any ideas?
