    Hello,

When I plug my headphones, speakers are not disabled. This is very annoying as I cannot play any videos on the train or in a library...
    Can anybody help?

    Thanks

Are you using Linpus or have you installed some other OS?

Likely to be another OS, just checked my Linpus, speakers mute when headphones plugged in.

If it is Linpus, can you let us know what has changed from the out of the box config.

I had this problem too, but it disappeared when I ran Acer Update.

I do keep mine up to date, have you run auto update recently?

Dumb question: What is "Acer Update"? I just started having the headphone problem--speakers won't mute, and I'm getting no sound out of my earphones. It was working last night. :(
