    Hello.

I have a acer aspire one AOA 150.
It is true that there is a Special Distro for Acer aspire one ??

After a lot of reading i know that there are some issues (e.g need wifi replacement, sleep problem when close the lid. toupad etc..).
I want to ask is there a special distro for acer one that solve these issues?

i allready own a iatkos v7 media. can i use this one to make it work ? and then make all above patches? or is allready a distro for this aspire one ready to install and play ???

    Thanks.

There are no solutions for sleep and wifi for SL yet as far as i know.
There are also no distributions for Snow Leopard so far, maybe they will come up one day. But, to be honest - i hope there won't be any, distro problems flooded all the forums, they caused too much problems. (That's just my opinion, i don't know much about hackintoshes, but this was my impression. ;) )

You could still try this solution, seems to be the easiest solution so far: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=17768

    Aah okay, i see... ;)

Well, i think there's no 10.5.8 distro (i haven't seen any at least) that works with the AOA - iPC and iAtkos v7 worked both well for me with the 10.5.8 Combo update (or iDeneb upgrade kit) and several kexts etcetera... it's unfortunately no 1-click thing, in my opinion more complicated than a 10.6.x installation, that's the reason why i try to forget pre-SL times. ;)

There is ONE snow leopard distro out there- Snow OSX. It's EXTREMELY buggy though. Not worth it IMO

Use the search function. There are so so many guides out there its untrue. But tbh, there is no reason not to use snow leopard...

If you don't want to take risks, what are you doing in a hackintoshing forum? ;)
