My SSD "C" drive appears to be full. My AAO is running as slow as treacle and often freezes up.

My OS is XP - I know there was a thread reating to this concerning Linux, but that's not a lot of help to me.

I have removed MS Office, MS works, Google Chrome - Adobe Acrobat - disabled restore points and run "disc-clean-up" untill I am blue in the face!

The more applications I delete, the smaller the free space becomes[honest]I'm down to 20mb at the moment. I don't even have enough space to run defrag!

Meanwhile - I have an almost empty SSD "D" drive.

i bought the AAO netbook on the assumption that it had a 16Gb SSD. It turns out that it has an 8Gb "C" drive [barely big enough to fit the operating system] and an expansion slot with a second 8Gb ssd card. Customer services were not very helpful -- I feel a bit cheated.

I have tried to instal any new programs on the "D" drive - but am seldom given the option - most downloaded programs seem to go on the "C" drive by default.

How do I move program files to the "D" drive?

How do I instal new programs [for instance MS Office or google chrome]]on the "D" drive?

    All suggestions gratefully recieved.

Even though this has been covered before (for Windows as well, I posted heaps in that thread LOL), but, I know of a free program that is exactly what you need.

A company called "FunDuc" make a program called "Application Mover". What it does is locate all registry entries and files for the app you tell it to move, then it moves the files and updates registry entries. I've used it several times.

    The company's website is http://www.funduc.com
The Application Mover can be found on there website on this page

Also if you check the link for SSD Space Usage in my sig you'll find some more information about how XP eats up 8Gb SSD's
