ssd crashed?

    Hi, the problem started about 3 weeks back. the laptop would freeze all the time. i thought this was normal. but yesterday it froze and would not continue, i waited 30 mins and nothing happend. restarting wouldnt help so i thought id just reinstall xp. during the installation while formatting (using NTFS) it would freeze at 20%. i then tried formatting using FAT and it would freeze on 23%.

    i am assuming that the ssd has bad sectors on or it is corrupt?
