D2D can be disabled in the BIOS. As far as I know its Disk 2 Disk recovery. Google for more!

hi there, how to disable paging file? i followed another post "sd card reader as hdd (how-to)" to tweak sdcard as "local drive" & successfully created pagefile there, after setting no pagefile on c: after reboot the pagefile was actually still there & in effective, i shutdown & boot with floppy to manually remove pagefile on c: then reboot, it just re-created the pagefile on c:

You must have a pretty slow desktop! I've tried all those tweaks, the only thing that might make a significant different is FAT32 formatting. None of the others has much impact, though most help I somewhat guess. (D2D didnt make any obvious difference, and frankly I don't imagine it should...) My cold boot time to the desktop was about 80 seconds, regardless. Applications were sluggish but useable. The worst is when you try to multitask. simultaneous read and writes to the SSD jam up the system completely.

I have the exact same thing - I am under the impression that it is not even an option to disable it for that drive...? Some sort of an SSD thing?

    Anyone else getting this too?

go to hardware manager in My computer Properties and look for the ssd under something like hard drives, properties on it and you will the option in some separator in the new window.
i didnt found any speed improvemente noticeable but it should indeed improve since caching will slow down due to low write speed of ssd

Also by quickboot and the other two. Date, time, bootoptions and all the others i can change. But those four not.
