I have an ZG5 AOA 110, 1.5GB RAM, and 8GB SSD that I have been trying different OS's on trying to find my fav. Now when trying to mount the SSD or even write to it by installing off a live ISO I get errors every time. When installing from LiveUSB I get "input/output" error during installation and when trying Ron's XP I get another error about a bad sector=1 or something like that. If definitely recognizes the SSD and problems occur when I try to mount it while running a LiveUSB or install an OS on it, or use it.

So is it sounding like my SSD is crapping out and I'll need a new one soon or is it a simple/fixable problem??
