Going straight to the point. My hard drive in my HP Envy M6K010DX took a shit. So therefore I was going to upgrade to a SSD, however cloning that hard drive was out of the question since it died. So instead I cloned my girl friends laptop which is a Lenovo. The process was successful and my Envy is up to speed and working like a champion. however, my question is will it effect my laptop negatively since the clone belongs to a different laptop entirely? She runs an Intel as mine is not. does that effect my stuff?

There are some problems related to copying another computers system.

You may find that some of your driver files may start acting up.

You will also have the other persons details on the machine.

YOU MAY WISH TO UPDATE ALL THE ANTIVIRUS PROGRAMS.

When you consider upgrading to say windows 10 you will be using
the other machines serial number if you choose to upgrade it, only one
machine will be allowed to the free upgrade.

YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN SERIAL NUMBER.

Here's some help to change the windows-serial-key

Also try this program to update your driver files

    Driver booster 3

I cannot think of any major problems, other than Microsoft refusing to update it
until you alter it with the serial number that came with the machine.

When you move onto windows 10 you can choose to do a fresh install not retaining anything on your computer as long as you have the correct legal serial number for the machine.
