    Hi all

I think I have change somthing someware by mistake.

When i boot the laptop the wireless network applet does not launch.
I can launch it by open a terminal window and typing nm-applet

Also when I type sudo su in a terminal , I cannot launch graphical programmes I get

    gtk-Warning cannot open display

Again I can get around this by typing
    su
    then entering the root password.

I think theses are connect as they both went wrong at the same time.

I look forward to a reply

    Thanks in advance

    Roger
