Starting DVD playback?

    Am I missing something obvious? I can't figure out how to get Media Master to open a dvd. I have an external drive and when I put a disc in it Media Master loads automatically and starts playing. But I can't figure out how to tell it to open the DVD if it's already in the drive and I just launch Media Master manually.

    On a related subject, what software is recommended for cd/dvd buring? Followinng the steps in this thread, I've got access to the Package Manager. Can anyone suggest buring software to use?

    I'm sorry, is there really no way to get the DVD playback to start after the disc is inserted? That's poo! What kind of half-assed distro is this Linpus thing?
