    Hi ppl!

I have already my second aao because the 1st went dead getting a black screen eventhough i didn't touched it.

Nevertheless, now that i have a new one, im a bit nervous. Im running xp pro and im getting these speaker noises that you know from bios hardware conflicts every now and then. Anyone else getting these sounds, or is it a result of using the fan control software v1.0?

I'm a nooby so don't be mad if i failed to research.

    Cheers

Yes from Linpus to XP but thats all.

No, i didn't update the bios but I'll try the thing with the headphones.

No noise was there when the headphones were plugged in. Neither the speakers nor the headphones made that noise but now plugged off it does it again. wth???

You should have used it on Linpus for a few days to make sure there's nothing wrong with it 1st.....

That aside. What version XP did you install it with? These fan control things, I don't really trust. Try not using that. Are you one of those unlucky ones to get a noisy fan? I only use XP home SP3 OEM, and it's 100% smooth sailing.

thats right i should have checked with linpus a few days but i expect a brand new machine to be without mistakes.

I'm using XP Pro SP3..and its running fine beside of the ticking.

Maybe I'll check out Vista if a few new problems arise.
