:?: Stuck at tweak #4

    Hello
    I have been following this very useful post http://www.aspireoneuser.com/2008/09/05 ... spire-one/ but got stuck on the way.
    I would like to add the icon for Skype on the desktop. When I type
    the window (group-app.xml)that comes up is all empty but for the warning at the top. I have enabled the advanced mode for the desktop.

    That will happen if you haven't got the path exactly right. Check that you have all the parts of

    /home/user/.config/xfce4/desktop/group-app.xml

    exactly correct - including the full stop.

    If you have, then open a terminal and enter these commands until you get an error of some sort, then post the commands and errors back here:

    Code:
    cd ~
cd .config
cd xfce4
cd desktop
cat group-app.xml
