Stuttering during playback of media (AVI MP3 etc)

    Hi everyone! My AOA150 stutters regularily during movie or music playback. task manager shows 5% load and when the stutter starts it jumps to 25% then back down after 3-5 secs and after about 2 mins it does it again, i changed my power profile to always on to force the CPU into 1.66mhz full, and no change. i reinstalled directx 9c, no change. i reinstalled chipset and video drivers along with my codec packs, no change.

    it goes away when i reformat, but it seems to reappear when windows XP home does it's auto updates.

    any help would be appreciated.
