Subtitles

    heyo again
    are there any media players for linpus which can show subtitles?
    or maybe some windows players, workign with wine?(ive tried media player classic, bsplayer and mv2 player but all freeze after opening a file..)

    Pretty much most of them can. Mplayer does if you can remember the key to flip through them ('#', I think), and VLC has a menu option. VLC is not difficult to install, and you have instructions on this very forum.

    no actually my vlc player doesnt show any subtitles...
    and the Mplayer neither...
    (subs are in .srt format and cyrilic font)

    If the names of the video file and the .srt file are exactly the same, then there should be an option in the Video dropdown menu for VLC

    yep everythings enabled but no subs...
    ive read in several forums that vlc has a problem managing subs...
