    ...fits only in the wifi socket (mini pci-e) I think :(

    NO.

    This unit is intended for EeePC secondary miniPCIe slot. This card is too long to fit standard miniPCIe space besides it's not going to work in standard miniPCIe - the slot looks the same but have different signals on miniPCIe contacts...
