    Hi,

Just wanted to make sure I wasn't going mad on this but...
downloaded latest big update and tried the following..

I use smb4k for network access to my shares on other systems
however I have been running smb4k under su (superuser)
now when I run su on its own i enter the password and the user prompt doesn't change (i could swear this changes to root prompt)
when i go to reset su password 'sudo su' nothing happens

Can someone confirm that (if they use this command) su is still working for them ?

    Thanks

    Based on my observations

su changes the user to root

sudo executes a program as a super user

I don't know how you can change password with sudo su.
