Switched to external monitor (tv), now it wont boot up

Hi,

Not sure if this is a hardware or software issue, so I apologize if this is in the wrong forum.

I have an Acer Aspire One, 1 gb ram, 120 gb hdd, running the preinstalled XP Home.

I wanted to see if i could connect it to my lcd tv (the tv works with my HP laptop). I connected it to the TV, then went into graphics properties and selected monitor #2. The screen went blank - it did not display on the TV. At the time, I was unaware of the Fn-F5 button's function, so I shut off the aspire with the power button.

Now when I try to start it up, it doesnt boot at all. The power light is the only light that comes on. I've tried removing the battery, waiting a few minutes, and reinserting it. Still no luck.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated!
