My Synaptic Touch Pad is not working since upgrading from Vista to Win 7. I un-installed the older driver, 12.2.4.1, 2/27/09 and installed 14.0.3.0, 8/27/09 from the Synaptic web site. Does anyone have a idea what is going on here?

I had the same problem with BIOS 3202. Works fine with BIOS version 3210.

Mine goes off sometimes - restart usually brings it back. I used the W7 driver on the Acer website.

12.2.4.1, 2/27/09 is the latest on the Acer site and what was installed during or after after the W7 upgrade, I believe. Didn't work. I updated it to 14.0.3.0, 8/27/09 from the Synaptic without luck.

How do I find out what version of the bios is installed?
