Synaptics touchpad gestures not working for IE or Firefox

    I'm not sure why this has started happening, but the chiral/virtual scrolling features for the Synaptics touchpad have stopped working only in IE and Firefox. In IE, I can see the chiral icon on the pointer, but no movement. In FF I get no response. However, other programs scroll normally.

    I am using the Synaptics driver 11.1.4 which I have been using all along.

    It is almost like there is something that is preventing virtual scrolling in browsers only.

    Any thoughts?

    Okay, what a noobie thing to do and overlook. Uninstalled and reinstalled Comodo Internet Suite and it's working again. Somehow, the Defense+ must have blocked the touchpad from communicating with the browsers!
