Can I sync with google calendar? I am missing the ability to sync with an url in stead of an .ics file. Is it possible? Once I ran gcald daemon on another linux. I don't know where I got it from and I think I never used it. Anyone has a working solution or an idea?

For me Outlook 2007 isn't of great help as it doesn't run on linux. So the question is if the AA1's Calendar program should be changed to something more like Outlook look-a-like

Sunbird is available from add/remove software on linpus. I've got it installed, but haven't tried any syncing apps yet.

Turns out, sunbird does the job without any other apps required. Go into the settings for your google calendar, and request the private address in ical format. Copy and paste that into the wizard brought up by selecting "subscribe to remote calendar" in sunbird and selecting the network option. Admittedly, my calendar is very simple - it could be that there are problems with more advanced stuff, so please report back if you decide to try it.
