I opened my aspire one 110 today everything ok. Suddenly, the fourth light on the top of the base unit which resembles a locked padlock lit up. I couldn't move the mouse or anything. Computer not responding. After shutdown the aspire blue screen comes up then the screen goes black with just the mouse on it. Can anyone explain why this happens and how to prevent it happening again? More importantly how to get the damn thing working again! At the time it locked I was trying to connect to a mobile network with a usb dongle. Help please.

You might try booting with the USB dongle unplugged. Booting with my mp3 player plugged in locks up the boot process, but if I plug it in once the system is booted, everything seems to work the way it's supposed to work.
