System recovery problem

    everytime i try to do a recovery it all goes fine until i restart and goto boot up from hdd but it wont because the restore process has made the hdd partition a hidden compaq setup and not a bootable ntfs partition.

    anyone got any ideas

    PS: netbook is a ZG5
