the audio is gone

    Hi everybody i'm a new user and now i have a sound problem... using skype or watching a video no audio... check the pannel but nothing at all... please help :(

    Which operating system are you using?

    If Linux, open a terminal and type 'alsamixer', and check the various volume controls are high enough.

    yes is linux ... i tryed to check and the result is the master bar on 94 and pcm bar on 0 ... but even if i have to change something i dont know how... :?

    The PCM bar is your problem - you need it up about the 80-90 level.

    Use the left and right arrow keys to move between columns, and up and down arrows to change the levels. When you've made your adjustment, 'ESC' ends the program and saves the changes.
